History of the site
The arboretum was planted in an old wood of radiate pine, 40 years old and cut down in the summer of the year 2011. All forest labours after the cut (branches clearings, rests stacking in rows) were done by hand, because the strong slopes. The land is property of Diputación Foral of Gipuzkoa, the provincial Government. Its Forest Service gave permission to IKT/Hazi to establish this plantation at the end of 2011.Publications related to the site
