History of the site
In the Gatzaga plot net 45 plots were installed (15 provenances*3 blocks each) of 81 plants, 729 m2 per each plot. In 2012, only 16 plots are still alive and ready to measure (568 trees in total). In the Ataun plot net 45 plots were installed (15 provenances*3 blocks each) of 81 plants, 729 m2 per each plot. In 2012, all the plots are alive and ready to measure (2.014 trees in total).The first step was the data collection of the same trees along the years. A database was created with these data. During the Reinfforce project, all the trees were measured by diameter and total height: 2.582 trees. All the trees are located by row and column in each plot. An analysis with all these data is expected along the final year of the project. Relationships between provenances, growth and climatic damages will be studied.
